Day 1

Hotel Pick-Up

Approx. 7:00 a.m.

Our team will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin our journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Taray Viewpoint

Our first stop will be the Taray Viewpoint, where you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. You will have time to admire the beautiful Andean scenery and take memorable photographs.

Pisac – Archaeological Site

We will continue to the Pisac Archaeological Site, located approximately 32 km northeast of Cusco.

Built high on the mountainside, Pisac is an impressive example of Inca agricultural, religious, and architectural development. During the visit, you will discover its terraces, ceremonial structures, and the famous Intihuatana, an important ceremonial and astronomical site.

Pisac is also well known for its traditional handicrafts and colorful local market, where you can find a variety of handmade products and learn more about the local Andean culture.

Buffet Lunch in Urubamba

We will continue to Urubamba, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of Peruvian dishes.

This will be the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge before continuing our journey.

Ollantaytambo – The Living Inca City

Our next stop will be the impressive Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, known as the “Living Inca City.”

This remarkable Inca settlement preserves much of its original urban layout and was an important strategic and ceremonial center in the Sacred Valley.

During the visit, we will explore its impressive stone terraces and ceremonial structures, including the famous Temple of the Sun, built with enormous pink granite stones.

Chinchero – Andean Culture & Textile Tradition

Our final stop will be Chinchero, a traditional Andean village renowned for its rich cultural heritage and textile traditions.

We will visit a local textile center, where you can learn about traditional weaving techniques and see how local artisans work with natural fibers such as alpaca wool.

Chinchero is also home to important archaeological remains and is a wonderful place to experience the living traditions of the Andean culture.

Return to Cusco

After a day filled with history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, we will begin our return journey to Cusco.

Day 2

Hotel Pick-Up for Machu Picchu

According to train and Machu Picchu entry times

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and begin our journey to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Cusco – Ollantaytambo Train Station

Approx. 2 hours

Travel by tourist transportation from Cusco to the train station in Ollantaytambo.

Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

According to your train schedule

Board the Expedition or Vistadome train, according to your selected service. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley and the Andes along the way.

Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, take the tourist bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where your guide will be waiting for you.

Guided Tour of Machu Picchu

Approx. 2 hours

Explore the Inca citadel with a professional guide and discover its most important areas and ceremonial sites, according to your assigned entry circuit.

Free Time for Photos

After the guided tour, enjoy some free time to take photos and appreciate the incredible scenery, according to the rules and conditions of your assigned circuit.

Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes

Take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch and explore the town.

Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

In the afternoon, board your return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our tourist transportation will take you back to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
