Day 1

Hotel pickup

Pickup for the Sacred Valley tour from your hotel at 07:00 AM.

Taray Viewpoint

07:30 AM approx.

We board the tourist bus to our first stop, the Taray viewpoint, to appreciate the scenic beauty of the Sacred Valley — a magnificent view for postcard photos.

Pisaq – Archaeological site

08:30 AM approx.

We continue to Pisaq, 32 km northeast of Cusco, on a condor-shaped mountain showcasing religious and agricultural architecture. Highlights include the solar observatory "Intihuatana" and the pre-Hispanic cemetery "Tantana Marka", the largest in South America. Known for its artisan market and "trueque" (barter) tradition on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Buffet lunch in Urubamba

11:00 AM approx.

After Pisaq, we head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant to recharge our energy.

Ollantaytambo – Living Inca City

12:30 PM approx.

We visit the Archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, the "Living Inca City" built on two mountains. The highlight is the great Temple of the Sun with 6 pink granite monoliths joined by enlarged mortise joints forming the ceremonial platform.

Chinchero – Textile art

02:30 PM approx.

Our last stop is Chinchero, meaning "brave man" in Quechua, built on a hilltop with terraces, shrines and the former residence of Inca Tupac Inca Yupanqui. Known for its urban style and alpaca fiber textile art made by locals.

Return to Cusco

4:00 – 5:00 PM

We conclude the Sacred Valley tour with the return to Cusco.

Bus Aguas Calientes → Machu Picchu

Upon arrival

Ecological green buses to the citadel entrance. Our guide awaits at the control gate.
