Where are Maras and Moray?
- Maras Salt Mines — Over 5,000 pink salt pools used since pre-Inca times, located on a mountainside at 3,380 masl.
- Moray — Concentric circular terraces that functioned as an Inca agricultural laboratory, experimenting with different crops at different altitudes. At 3,500 masl.
Both sites are located northwest of Urubamba, accessible via route CU-1166.

You can hire a taxi at Urubamba's main plaza.

Take route CU-1166 from Urubamba toward Cusco. After 15 km you'll see the signposted turnoff to Maras and Moray.
