Unfortunately the tour for the Inca Trail cannot be done by yourself without a tour, it is a requirement to do it through a travel agency and with an official tour guide.
The 2001 regulations proposed a form of organized tourism through travel agencies, which are in charge of carrying out the necessary procedures and permits for the Inca Trail tour.
