ITINERARY

DAY 01: CUSCO – MALAGA PASS – ALFAMAYUC – SANTA MARÍA

• To start the Inca Jungle tour, we will pick you up from your hotel starting at 07:30 hrs. 
• Already located inside the tourist bus we will go to the highest point which is the pass of Malaga (4350 m.a.s.l.) where we can have a magnificent view of the La Veronica snow-capped and adjacent smaller snow-capped.
• In the pass of Malaga we will leave towards Alfamayuc, this is the starting point where our guide will give us information and details of the route and then we will begin the descent on bikes by a road of 45 km with destination towards Santa Maria (1430 m.a.s.l.) a unique experience.
• After arriving in the town of Santa Maria we will have lunch and dinner in a local family hostel.

DAY 02: SANTA MARIA – QELLOMAYO – SANTA TERESA

• Our Inca jungle tour continues very early in the morning with a full day hike of 22 km from the town of Santa Maria along roads that are still part of the Inca Trail passing through the archaeological center of Vilcabamba known as the last refuge of the Incas.
• Then as part of this hike we will cross streams, fruit plantations such as bananas, oranges, avocados, mangoes and coffee that are typical of the area where we can also see the great diversity of flora with its great diversity of orchids and lots of birds and wildlife that has the lowland jungle.

DAY 03: SANTA TERESA – HYDROELECTRIC – MACHU PICCHU TOWN

• Once in Hydroelectric we will have lunch to recharge our energy and continue our hike to Aguas Calientes through trails and paths of the railroad line until we reach Aguas Calientes.
• In Aguas Calientes, the town where Machupicchu is located, we can rest and spend the night in a hotel.
• Finally, in the evening we will have dinner in a tourist restaurant in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 04: MACHU PICCHU

• The big day has arrived after a magnificent experience of trekking along Inca trails and beautiful landscapes, it is sunrise in Machupicchu.
