The parish of the town of Aguas Calientes, Machupicchu, is named after the parish of “La Virgen del Carmen”.

This is a small, pretty, simple and very picturesque parish. Its façade is made of stone. In its interior stands out the image of the Virgin of Carmen and the image of the Black Christ.
