GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Client, when acquiring the services of READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C. accepts the terms and conditions, which apply to all reservations and activities carried out through our website.

 RESERVATION REQUEST

All reservation requests will be made via email, please contact us at the following email: [email protected] or [email protected]

All reservation requests for tour services that are confirmed are guaranteed by READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C. travel and tourism agency.

Once the client sends his reservation request, he will receive a confirmation which will show with details all the services included and not included.

 

 PAYMENT METHOD POLICY

Cash payment will be accepted through the following systems:

YAPE, WESTER UNION and bank accounts of BBVA CONTINENTAL and INTERBANK banks.

No passenger can start the tour without having paid the total amount of the chosen tour.

The method of bank payment is to the following accounts:

Payments can be in U.S. dollars and Peruvian soles at the exchange rate handled by the agency.

All bank charges will be covered by the client.

Once the bank transfer has been made, please send us a proof of deposit, in order to verify with our bank to the following e-mail [email protected] with a copy to your travel consultant.

 

 CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

The request for cancellation of your tour must be made by email by the person who made the reservation and paid the deposit to [email protected] or [email protected]

Cancellations are subject to penalties, depending on the type of tour chosen by the client.

If a client decides to leave once the tour has started, no refund will be granted. The client must pay for any additional expenses incurred by his own decision such as food, lodging and transportation.

If the client is unable to participate in the trek due to physical problems or illness no refund will be granted.

Failure to show up for the assigned tour will be considered a no show and therefore there will be no refund.

The Inca Trail Tour is non-transferable and cannot be given to any person.

 

RELEASE OF RESPONSIBILITY

READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C, is not responsible in the following cases:

If the names or data provided are not the same as the passport, identity card, DNI, or university card.

Due to problems with the train service, transport bus services and transfer buses to the Inca city, whether due to delays, mechanical damage, cancellations due to weather or other reasons. The companies that provide this service are responsible for the same.

Weather reasons, natural disasters, social conflicts, work stoppages and strikes that could prevent your arrival to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and/or other circuits offered on the website.

In the case the client does not show up on the date of the tour, it will be considered as no show, therefore there will be no refunds.

In case the Client has been affected by any of these fortuitous events READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C. will only make effective the refund of the amount that can be refunded, the base price of our services must be assumed and reimbursed by the entity responsible for the same.

Damage, partial or total loss of your luggage and belongings.

The Client who cannot make use of his tourist tickets on the assigned date and does not communicate in a timely manner or carry out any procedure, will lose the right to the ticket and will not be entitled to any refund.

 

DISCOUNT FOR MINORS, STUDENTS AND CITIZENS OF THE ANDEAN COMMUNITY OF NATIONS (CAN) AT THE ENTRANCE TO MACHU PICCHU

For these purposes, it must be accredited with the identity document such as passport, identity card, DNI, and/or current university card and it is necessary to send a copy of identity documents to the email [email protected] or [email protected] after making your reservation and validating your condition.

Children under 3 years old are admitted free of charge.

Children under 3 years of age, between 3 and 17 years old, have access to a reduced rate for the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu.

University students from anywhere in the world can access a reduced rate of the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu.

The reduced rate does not apply to students over 25 years of age, graduate students, master’s students, or doctoral students.

Citizens of the Andean Community of Nations (Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia) may purchase the Machu Picchu ticket at a reduced rate.

Citizens of the Andean Community of Nations who are university students or minors have access to a discount.

 

DISCOUNT FOR MINORS ON TRAINS AND BUSES TO MACHU PICCHU

Children from 0 to 2 years old do not pay the ticket for the train service in Peru Rail and Inca Rail, and a maximum of one child per seat occupied by their parents.

Children from 3 to 11 years old have a discount on the train service of both railway companies. For which you must send a digital copy of the identity document or valid passport of the minor to [email protected] or [email protected]

Children from 5 to 10 years old have a discount on the bus service to Machupicchu. For which you must send a digital copy of the identity document or valid passport of the minor to [email protected] or [email protected]

 

 POLICIES OF MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES OF OUR TOURS: MACHUPICCHU

The modifications and changes of the tours to Machu Picchu are made only to tours that were purchased through our website, where the Client can only make changes of name and dates of your visit.

All modifications and changes only proceed upon request of the client to the following email [email protected] or [email protected]

See the following penalties:

From 3 to 5 days before the scheduled tour start date: 40% penalty on the initial payment amount.

From 6 to 10 days before the scheduled tour start date: 30% penalty on the initial payment amount.

11 days or more before the start date of the tour: 20% penalty on the initial payment amount.

 

POLICIES OF MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES OF OUR TOURS: INCA TRAIL

Once the reservation of the Inca Trail tours of 4 days / 3 nights and the Inca Trail of 2 days / 1 night has been made, they are not subject to changes or modifications.

 

POLICIES OF MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES OF OUR TOURS: SALKANTAY AND INCA JUNGLE

The modifications and changes of the tours to Salkantay 5d/4n, 4d/3n and the Inca Jungle tours 4d/3n, 3d/2n are made only to tours that were purchased through our website, where the client can only make changes of name and dates of your visit.

All modifications and changes can only be made upon request of the client to the following email [email protected] or [email protected]

See the following penalties:

From 3 to 5 days before the scheduled tour start date: 40% penalty on the initial payment amount.

From 6 to 10 days before the scheduled tour start date: 30% penalty on the initial payment amount.

The modifications and changes of the aforementioned tours are made only to tours that were purchased through our website, where the client can only make changes to the name and dates of their visit.

All modifications and changes only proceed upon request of the client to the following email [email protected] or [email protected]

See the following penalties:

From 3 to 5 days before the tour start date: 35% penalty on the payment amount.

From 5 days to more: there is no penalty.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY FOR OUR TOURS: MACHU PICCHU

The cancellation and refund of the tour to Machupicchu are made only to the tour purchased through our website.

Cancellations and refunds only proceed upon customer request to the following email [email protected] or [email protected]

Cancellations of previously modified tours are not accepted.

The cancellation of a tour has a single penalty which is as follows: Penalty of 50% (refund of 50% of the value of the tour) within a period not less than 3 days before the date of the tour.

In case the Client does not have travel insurance, requests for cancellations due to emergency causes will be considered on a case by case basis.

Reimbursement for cancellation will be made no later than 48 hours prior to the tour date. The refund will be made by the same payment method used for payment.

The reimbursement of the money usually takes several days, due to the shipping policies of the banks BBVA Continental and Interbank.

 

 CANCELLATION POLICIES AND REFUNDS OF OUR TOURS: INCA TRAIL

Once the Inca Trail 4 days/3 nights and Inca Trail 2 days/1 night tours are booked, they are not subject to cancellations and refunds.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES OF OUR TOURS: SALKANTAY AND INCA JUNGLE

Cancellations and refunds for Salkantay tours 5d/4n, 4d/3n and Inca Jungle tours 4d/3n, 3d/2n are made only for tours that were purchased through our website.

Cancellations and refunds only proceed upon customer request to the following email [email protected] or [email protected]

See the following penalties:

If the client cancels between 10 and 30 days before the trip, he/she must pay 50% of the total cost of the trip.

If the client cancels between 9 and 3 days before the trip, he/she must pay 80% of the total cost of the trip.

If the client cancels 2 days or less before his/her trip, he/she must pay 100% of the total cost.

Reimbursement of the cancellation will be made up to 48 hours prior to the travel date. The refund will be made by the same payment method that was used for payment.

The reimbursement of the money usually takes several days, due to the shipping policies of the banks BBVA Continental and Interbank.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES OF OUR TOURS: CITY TOUR, SACRED VALLEY, MARAS – MORAY, SEVEN COLORS MOUNTAIN, PALCOYO MOUNTAIN AND HUMANTAY LAKE.

Cancellations and refunds of the above mentioned tours are only made for tours that were purchased through our website.

Cancellations and refunds only proceed upon request of the client to the following email [email protected] or [email protected] . Within a period of no less than 3 days from the date of the tour.

Cancellations of previously modified tours are not accepted.

See the following penalty: Penalty of 35% of the ticket value (65% refund).

The refund of the cancellation will be made up to 48 hours before the travel date. The refund will be made by the same payment method that was used for payment.

The reimbursement of the money usually takes several days, due to the shipping policies of the banks BBVA Continental and Interbank.

 

MODIFICATION OF TERMS OF USE

READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C. reserves the right to make changes or updates to our terms of use at any time. It is the responsibility of the clients to take into account these details and review them.

 

PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO READY TO TRAVEL PERU POLICIES

Respond to your requests with clear and precise answers, as well as the forms you are given.

Take into account the instructions of the route team.

Attend the briefing sessions that are held prior to the start of the tour, which is essential for the start of the route.

Comply with all the obligations set out in these Terms and Conditions established by READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is recommended to have travel insurance for all our clients and coverage in case of loss of luggage, accidents and etc.

In the event of illness or injury on one of our tours, we have trained staff to provide emergency first aid assistance and arrange transportation to a medical facility, but we are not responsible for the cost of transportation services and medical care.

 

SAFETY CONDITIONS:

READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the tourist service to customers who are under the effect of drugs and/or if the person is in an out of control condition that means an actual or potential danger to their own safety and/or that of the passengers participating in our tour.

 

RIGHT TO USE IMAGES

The client accepts and grants the right to use images, photos, videos of filming in the duration of your tour in our tours to READY TO TRAVEL PERU S.A.C as part of advertising without any right to any cost and payment.
