To see the availability of spaces for the Inca Trail, please follow the steps below.
- Choose the type of route you want to do the Inca Trail 4 days (classic or traditional) or short Inca Trail 2 days.
- Choose dates and days preferably months in advance.
- The Inca Trail is open all year round except for the month of February which is closed for the rainy season and is used for the maintenance of the route.
- Consult all the alternatives with your travel agency.
Are there quotas for the Inca Trail?
The available quotas are 500 people per day, including 200 tourists and the rest is the team of guides, cooks, porters and others. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase the tour months in advance.
Are there tickets for the Inca Trail ?
Tickets for the Inca Trail must be booked a minimum of 5 to 6 months in advance of the tour and if you plan to do the tour in the high season months of May, June and July, reservations should preferably be made 7 to 8 months in advance. Tickets for the 2-day Inca Trail are somewhat difficult to obtain due to the minimum number of tickets offered.
