There are three ways to get to the Sacred Valley of the Incas from Lima Peru, then we show you:
- You can arrive by Air Line.
- You can take Interprovincial Buses.
- You can arrive by car or private transportation.
The first way to get to the Sacred Valley from Lima Peru is through an airline, flights departures are frequent to the city of Cusco due to the high tourist demand and the flight duration is approximately 1h 20 min, Once you have arrived in the city you can acquire the services of a travel agency and they will schedule your departure for the next day all this will depend on the time of your arrival at the airport and if it is feasible to make the tour to the Sacred Valley the same day but it is recommended to do it the next day, so you can acclimatize and enjoy your visit to Cusco.
The second way to get to the Sacred Valley from Lima Peru is by interprovincial buses that leave from the capital Lima in their respective terminals, in a trip of average duration of 22 – 25 hours either by the safest and longest route which is Lima, Nazca, Arequipa, Cusco (1650 km) or by the short route that has more curves and high Andean areas within its route which is Lima, Nazca, Abancay, Cusco (1117 km).
After your arrival at the terminal in Cusco you can make use of a tour of your choice to get to the Sacred Valley of the Incas or get to the Sacred Valley in a private way by cab or minivan.
The third way to get to the Sacred Valley from Lima Peru is by private car choosing the route of your preference either by the long route is Lima, Nazca, Arequipa, Cusco (1650 km) or by the short route Lima, Nazca, Abancay, Cusco (1117 km) both with destination to Cusco and then after a journey of 22-25 hours take the route to the Sacred Valley by the route Cusco-Chinchero-Sacred Valley or by the route Cusco- Pisaq -Sacred Valley both have an average journey of 1 hour by these routes.
